Workplace research & advice
Is an occupational health assessment necessary, or is a preventive workplace investigation or risk assessment (RI&E) sufficient? Together, we'll explore the options available to employees and/or the workplace to adapt and reduce/prevent absenteeism.
Preventive
Workplace research
Jolien helps employees by
to experience for yourself what
(Minor) adjustments in the workplace can mean...
Immediately time investment An average of 35 minutes per person is used to provide insights into work posture and movement habits, review tools, and optimize the workplace and its use.
The costs of which: 250 euros in the North Holland region with reporting, excluding call-out charges.
Occupational health and safety research into physical complaints
If you or your
employee already has complaints
or there is a case of
reintegration, I can conduct an occupational health and safety investigation into stressful factors.
Jolien looks at the design of the workplace and its use, including any aids, and then measure, among other things:
• Breathing, posture, muscle tension (stress symptoms)
• The tax and taxability: tax consequences.
• The layout of the activities and workplace.
• It exercise behavior.
The costs The 60-minute occupational health assessment includes a follow-up visit to assess the effectiveness of the recommendations and a work plan for the occupational health and safety service. The cost is €290.
These procedures utilize the Fysibel 2.0 measurement method program, the Ergonomics manual, and the Ai-bladen (occupational health and safety sheets from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment). Finally, I have a muscle tension meter that measures muscle tension and can teach you how to reduce it directly.
What makes Jolien's approach special?
Her approach is down-to-earth, practical, and effective. Her background as a therapist is invaluable in interpreting complaints and providing appropriate guidance. You're dealing with a professional in the field.

Jolien Glas Exercise therapy prevents (further) absenteeism
"I honestly never thought, after my back surgery, that I'd ask how I could improve my sitting so I wouldn't experience as much pain from pens in my back. Jolien helped me think about it and offered practical tips I hadn't thought of myself," said a dietitian.
I was unnecessarily raising my fingers while using the mouse, which caused my shoulder pain. I didn't even realize it. It helped immediately.
"By immediately adjusting my workstation, it felt much better, less muscle tension and less pain," said one office worker.
"Thanks to Jolien, I feel much more confident in addressing my colleagues about their posture," says an occupational health coach.
My colleague had one of those rollermouses, so I wanted one too. When Jolien arrived, it turned out it didn't feel right at all. She had more equipment with her, and I could experience that immediately. In the end, I got better advice than I could have imagined.
